— Azamat Vyacheslavovich, taking this opportunity, once again congratulations on your appointment! How were your first working days?
— Thank you for your congratulations! My first working days coincided with the closing of the transfer window. So I immediately plunged into work, of which there was a lot with a lack of time. I had to manage to close many issues in a day and a half, I didn’t even have time to worry! I want to thank my colleagues for their help, together with them we tirelessly delved into all the nuances of the past transfers. They helped me with my adaptation. But it will take me some time to fully get used to my new position. I immediately felt how responsible this job is! Which requires constant high speed of making the right decisions. In fact, this is the same football, but from the other side.
— The long-term leaders of the team, who had been the backbone for a long time, left, and were replaced by young people. Is the club ready for the fact that they will need time to adapt?
— We all understand perfectly well that a generational change will inevitably require time for adaptation. Indeed, a large number of experienced footballers and leaders have left the team. However, this is also an excellent opportunity for young players to prove themselves! We hope that each of them will grab the chance with all their might and take full advantage of it. Because, perhaps, such an opportunity may not always fall to a young footballer. They need to seize the opportunity at all costs and start raising their native team!
— Alania-2 will not play in the next season of Division B. It will be replaced by the Alania Academy team in the Third League. Tell us a little about this project.
— Yes, such a decision was indeed made. Unfortunately, Alania-2 will not play in the second division. Accordingly, the question arose… What to do with the young guys who have not yet made it into the main team? They need practice. Therefore, fortunately for us, a solution to this issue appeared in cooperation with the Academy. Now there will be a team where all our young people will play. The team will play in the Third League. We will provide the guys with game practice. At the moment, I can’t give more information. We will announce the nuances and details a little later.
— Is there a chance that any of the players will join or, on the contrary, leave our team?
— For example, Williams Chimezie has already left Alania. He is going on loan. He will play in the MLS. Now the player is dealing with issues related to obtaining a visa. Then he will complete all the issues, pass the UMO and sign an agreement with his new club. Now we are trying to find compromise solutions with some other players. We are working in this direction.
— What about the injured? Who will be able to help the team in the rest of the season?
— Soslan Kachmazov is already training with the main group. Unfortunately, he did not fly to Krasnoyarsk. He still needs a little time. He missed a lot, but we are all counting on him! Batraz Khadartsev is still undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, he will not be able to help in the near future. David Kobesov will soon return to work on the field. David Kokoev, Taras Gagloev and Pasha Dolgov are still recovering, they also need time. Good health to the guys!
— What are your expectations for the spring part of the season?
— Of course, we all understand that it will definitely not be easy! In principle, it is never easy. But we hope that everything will work out for us. We are looking forward to the first match after the restart of the season. We want to start well after the training camp. I saw the boys’ eyes shining during training. There are no problems with motivation. I am sure that each of them is ready and will give their all on the field! The coaching staff headed by Spartak Arturovich will help them with this, that’s for sure. They know how to work with young people.
