— Batraz, congratulations on three points and a goal scored! How do you feel after the victory?
— Thank you for your congratulations! Only positive emotions and impressions! But you need to understand that we are not in the best situation right now, in general. In terms of the tournament table, our team has some difficulties. I think we need to forget about this victory as soon as possible. There is no time for joy. We all need to get ready for the upcoming home match against Chaika.
— You scored your first goal of the season, did you unload yourself psychologically after that?
— Yes, I did, but probably more from the victory than from the goal. Because, I repeat, now is a difficult situation. Not a moment for any personal goals and feelings. Plus, before the game we were told that it turns out we have never won against Sokol away from home. This was a good additional motivation for us! We were set exclusively for victory.
— How did you like the filigree pass from Khugaev in the penalty area?
— I agree, the pass was really good! But I was more shocked by another episode. The way Huga switched to attack, how he went forward, dragged the ball a few meters, and the opponent was hanging on it. I probably enjoyed this more than the pass to me!
— Was it hard to open up Sokol’s defense?
— It was hard in the first 15 minutes. In principle, it always is. The beginning of the match is a fight, switching, searching for moves, all this creates difficulties for both teams. Then the game calmed down a bit, we started playing low, coming out through the pass, creating dangerous episodes. But I wouldn’t say that it was hard to open up the defense against Sokol in particular. Yesterday we created a lot of chances.
— How many more do you plan to score before the end of the season?
— I don’t have a specific goal in terms of goals. I don’t plan to score an incredible amount. My goal and task for each game is to create the greatest number of opportunities to score. That’s what’s important. If we do everything right and create opportunities, then there will be goals in any case!
— Who would you say was the best player on our team today?
— It’s hard to pick just one. Everyone was really good! But I’ll single out Hugo.
